Every patient gets called back, from your number
Your team returns patient calls on a number the practice owns instead of a personal mobile, and you can see which calls happened and what they cost. Read the limits below first — if you need a signed BAA, this is not the right tool.
There's no subscription and no per-person fee today — you pay for the minutes you talk and the numbers you keep.
- Nobody's mobile
- Staff call patients from a practice number, not their own
- A second location
- A working line this week, without a phone company
- Per member
- Who called, how long, and what it cost
Read this before you go further
- We do not sign Business Associate Agreements and we are not HIPAA-certified. If your patient line needs a BAA, stop here — we are not a fit.
- No emergency calling. This cannot be your practice's only or primary phone system.
- No patient texting: no appointment reminders, no confirmations, no two-way texting.
- No integration with Dentrix, Open Dental, athenahealth, Epic or any other practice system, and no fax.
- No transcripts or AI triage, and no after-hours answering service.
- You can't bring your existing number, and there are no desk handsets — it runs in a browser.
The week you're actually having
Front desks are overloaded, callbacks happen on the drive home, and the phone bill grows every time you hire.
My hygienist is ringing patients from her own cell on the drive home
Callbacks get made from personal phones because that is what's at hand, which means patients then have a staff member's private number forever.
Staff place those calls on a practice number from their phone's browser. The personal number is never shown.
We pay more for the phones than for our practice software
Per-seat plans mean every receptionist, hygienist and part-time associate is another monthly line item, so people get left off.
Adding a person costs nothing today. Everyone who needs to call patients can have access.
We opened the second office and it took six weeks to get a phone number
A new location waits on the phone company while it is already seeing patients.
Choose a US or Canada number and it is working the same day.
I have no idea who we lost when the phone rang out
Nobody can say how many patients called during lunch, or whether anyone rang them back.
Every call in and out is logged with the time, who handled it and what it cost, so the gaps are visible instead of assumed.
What changes for a clinics team
Nobody hands out their own mobile number again
Staff call patients from a number the practice owns, using the phone they already carry.
You can prove the call happened
A shared log of every call with the time, who made it, how long it ran and what it cost.
The phone bill stops growing with the team
One shared balance for the practice and one invoice, with no per-person charge today.
A working line for the new office this week
Add a US or Canada number the day you need it, and point it at whoever is covering.
A clinics team, costed
Our own arithmetic on our own published rates. Not a testimonial, not a case study with a logo on it — a scenario you can check line by line.
What a five-person practice actually pays
Five staff sharing two numbers — reception and a callback line.
- 2 numbers
- $17.98 a month
- 2,500 minutes to the US and Canada
- about $50
Calls are billed in 60-second increments, rounded up, with a 60-second minimum. Billing is in USD only. Our arithmetic from our own published rates — not a customer result.
What is not on that invoice
- A licence for every person on the team
- A monthly platform subscription
- Handsets, headsets or an on-site PBX
- A minimum term, and a fee to leave it
How this was calculated
Every figure above is computed from the same published rates the dialer quotes from, in code, at render time. Nobody types a total into this page — so it cannot drift away from what the calls actually cost.
Questions, answered
Will you sign a BAA?
No. We do not sign Business Associate Agreements and we do not market TwinPhone as HIPAA-compliant. Encryption in transit is not the same thing as HIPAA compliance, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a BAA is required for your patient line, we are not the right supplier.
Can this replace our main practice phone?
No. Emergency calling is not available, so keep your existing main line. TwinPhone works as an additional line for outbound patient calls and a second location.
What does it cost as we add staff?
There's no subscription and no per-person fee today — you pay for the minutes you talk and the numbers you keep. Calls to the US and Canada start at $0.02 a minute, and a number's monthly price is shown before you take it. Adding a person does not change the price today.
Does it send appointment reminders?
No. There is no SMS at all, and no scheduling, patient portal or payment features. It is a phone line, not a practice platform.
Does it connect to our practice management software?
No. There are no EHR or PMS integrations. Your call log and contacts export to a spreadsheet.
Do I have to talk to a salesperson?
No. You create the team yourself and it is active immediately — there is no application, no approval step and no demo to sit through. If you would rather talk to a person first, you can, but nothing is gated behind it.
